Job Description
- Develop and grow sales opportunities within the food and beverage ingredients market.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with manufacturers and key customers through regular engagement.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and prospective customers to achieve sales targets.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable ingredient solutions for commercial and technical needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, pipeline tracking, and performance reporting.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues effectively to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, food regulations, and market developments.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify new product concepts and market opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Ideally 2-3 years of B2B sales experience within food ingredients or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of food ingredients, applications, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commercially driven with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
- Well-organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
