We are looking for an experienced
Sales Team Lead to manage and coach a team of Account Managers while driving revenue growth across Media Prima Omnia's digital advertising solutions.
You will develop sales strategies, grow agency and direct client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure the team consistently achieves its revenue targets.
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven leader with strong media sales experience, good knowledge of digital advertising, and a proven track record in team management and business development.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of media sales experience
- At least 1 year in a leadership or team management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience working with media agencies, advertisers, and brand clients
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, media planning, and campaign execution
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Good commercial, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in sales forecasting and pipeline management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a high level of ownership
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience selling display, video, social, programmatic, branded content, influencer marketing, or integrated media solutions
- An existing network within Malaysia's media and advertising industry
- Knowledge of ad tech, martech, audience measurement, and digital performance metrics
- Experience managing large-scale campaigns or cross-functional teams
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Managers
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews and performance evaluations
- Support the team during client pitches, negotiations, and complex account matters
- Build a collaborative and client-focused sales culture
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Drive individual and team revenue targets
- Identify new opportunities with agencies, advertisers, and brand clients
- Develop growth plans for existing accounts
- Lead key pitches, proposals, and commercial negotiations
Client & Agency Management
- Build strong relationships with agencies, direct clients, and industry partners
- Understand client objectives and recommend suitable media solutions
- Manage senior-level client concerns and campaign issues
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Sales Planning & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and new advertising opportunities
- Use data and campaign insights to support sales recommendations
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth campaign delivery
