Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new clients and strengthen relationships with existing ones to expand business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve targets and grow market presence locally and internationally.
  • Connect with clients to understand their financial goals and offer relevant trading or hedging solutions.
  • Drive growth by exploring new digital and international markets, developing sales strategies that align with market trends.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns attract new client interest and highlight our offerings.
  • Manage client accounts by overseeing trade execution, handling settlements, and providing timely updates and support.
  • Regularly review client accounts to identify additional sales opportunities, upsell relevant services, and provide financial insights that enhance client value.
  • Stay informed on global financial markets, economic trends, and trading opportunities that may benefit clients.
  • Monitor company positions, margin requirements, reconcile trades and square risk positions.
  • Leverage trading algorithms and charting tools to offer clients informed advice and solutions.
  • Ensure that all client transactions comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and mandated risk guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Holding Diploma / Degree qualification.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in financial sales, with a proven track record in client acquisition
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and excellent client management skills.
  • Comfortable using/navigating through charting and other financial related software and programs.
  • Experience in precious metals trading desk and bullion firms will be a strong plus point.
  • Based in Malaysia, with flexibility to travel regionally.
