Customer Engagement Strategy Through Salesforce Marketing and Data Cloud

High-performing digital organizations require Salesforce professionals with expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud to support customer engagement, segmentation, and personalization initiatives. As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud Specialist, you will contribute to enterprise customer journey strategies, activation workflows, and data-driven engagement solutions that support measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of Salesforce consulting or implementation experience
  • At least 1-2 years of strong hands-on Salesforce Data Cloud experience
  • Proven expertise configuring Salesforce Data Cloud components including Data Streams, Identity Resolution, Calculated Insights, segmentation, and activation workflows
  • Experience creating Calculated Insights using SQL-style queries and customer data models
  • Strong understanding of Customer 360 concepts, customer lifecycle management, data unification, and segmentation strategies
  • Functional understanding of financial services, insurance, or enterprise customer engagement workflows is highly preferred
  • Experience working with at least one additional Salesforce product such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, FSC, or Commerce Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including audience segmentation, activation, customer engagement workflows, or related campaign capabilities, is highly preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and client communication skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce Data Cloud solutions

Key Responsibilities

Functional Solutioning, Client Engagement, and Pre-Sales Support

  • Lead discovery workshops focused on Customer 360, personalization, and segment targeting
  • Translate business needs into actionable Data Cloud configurations, including segments, insights, and identity rules
  • Advise clients on best practices for leveraging Data Cloud across various Salesforce Clouds
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including proposal writing, solution design, and demo walkthroughs
  • Support UAT, enablement, and handover to client teams post-go-live
  • Participate in RFPs, pitches, and solutioning discussions with internal and external stakeholders

Hands-On Technical Configuration

  • Set up Data Streams from internal and external sources
  • Establish Identity Resolution rules and entity match logic
  • Develop Calculated Insights to generate key business metrics
  • Create Segments and activation flows to Salesforce, Commerce, or ad platforms
  • Resolve data flow, unification, and segmentation issues
  • Work closely with developers, integration teams, and architects

Team Leadership & Project Delivery

  • Act as Team Lead in Salesforce Data Cloud projects and support effort estimation, task planning, and issue resolution
  • Coordinate work across functional consultants, developers, and offshore teams
  • Ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
