Position: Salesforce Solution Architect / Lead Consultant
Location: Kuala Lumpur (Menara TRX)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (2 to 3 days onsite at client office, remaining WFH)
Target Domain: Insurance / Takaful
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture: Design robust, scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with complex business requirements. Define integration architecture linking Salesforce with external core insurance systems and legacy mainframes.
Multi-Module Expertise: Champion the implementation strategy across at least three major Salesforce modules (e.g., Financial Services Cloud, Sales, Service, Marketing, Data, or Revenue Cloud).
Presales & Proposal Development: Support regional presales engagements, lead client discovery workshops, shape opportunities, and craft technical solution proposals and effort estimations (SOWs).
Project Delivery & Leadership: Take the reins as Team Lead or Project Manager to oversee delivery execution, manage stakeholder expectations (Business, IT, and Vendors), and handle delivery governance.
OOTB vs. Customization: Provide strategic recommendations on out-of-the-box features versus custom extensions based on global best practices.
️ Technical & Role Requirements
Experience: Minimum 8+ years of dedicated experience in Salesforce solutions, presales, or enterprise consulting roles.
Domain Expertise: Proven track record of delivering Salesforce projects within the Insurance domain (Life, General, Group, or Takaful). Understanding integration with core systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, eBaoTech) is a major plus.
Technical Familiarity: Strong architectural and development understanding of:
Apex and platform customization approaches.
OmniStudio / Vlocity (highly critical for modern insurance digital journeys).
Salesforce Integrations (APIs, middleware like MuleSoft, and complex data architecture).
Consulting Background: Prior experience in a client-facing role at a Big 4 consulting firm or an elite Salesforce Crest/Platinum Partner is highly preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in any field.
