Role Description

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Salesperson for a full-time hybrid role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur, with some flexibility to work from home. The Salesperson will identify and onboard local food businesses, build and maintain strong relationships with partners, and drive the adoption of Value Food solutions. Day-to-day tasks include managing the sales pipeline, conducting in-person and virtual meetings with potential partners, identifying their needs, presenting appropriate solutions, and negotiating agreements that align with our mission to reduce food waste.

Qualifications

• Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills to build and maintain relationships with partners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with diverse stakeholders and conducting presentations.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks, handle schedules, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities to identify partner needs and offer customized solutions.
• Experience or interest in sustainability, food industry, or technology is an advantage.
• Proficiency in tools and platforms such as CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, or other relevant sales software.
• Passion for the mission of reducing food waste and promoting sustainability.
