Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team in Pulau Pinang (Penang), Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, including interface design and support project experience. This role requires deep functional and technical expertise, particularly in logistics and finance modules within the SAP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance ABAP programs including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEF) with a focus on logistics functionality.
- Design and implement Web Services, IDOC, OData, and Fiori applications.
- Work with BADI, BAPI, User Exits, BTE, and FICO Substitution techniques.
- Develop CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and build custom OData services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in SAP S/4HANA modules such as SD, MM, WM, and FI.
- Conduct performance tuning and quality assurance using tools such as Extended Program Check, Code Inspector, ST22, SE30, ST05, ATC, etc.
- Manage TRFC, QRFC, Gateway Monitor, and perform OSS Note Analysis.
- Provide support to global teams by identifying and resolving issues in SAP systems and optimizing existing solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions.
- Document technical specifications and ensure clarity for future maintenance and support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of solid hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Proven expertise in SAP SD, MM, WM, and FI modules.
- Strong understanding of SAP development frameworks and debugging tools.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- A proactive and business-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- SAP Certification in ABAP or related modules.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
