We are looking for experienced SAP Basis Consultant responsible for leading technical operations, ensuring system stability and performance, and managing SAP landscapes across multiple platforms and environments.
Job Responsibilities:
1. SAP Basis Operations & Technical Leadership
- Lead SAPBasis activities across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, Fiori,and BTP environments
- Ensuresystem availability, performance tuning, and stability across alllandscapes (Dev, QA, Prod)
- Managetransports, kernel upgrades, system refreshes, and routine maintenance
2. Stakeholder & Onsite Coordination
- Act asthe primary technical point of contact for customer IT and businessstakeholders
- Provideregular updates, manage escalations, and ensure SLA/KPI adherence
- Coordinatewith offshore teams for seamless service delivery
3. Incident, Problem & Change Management
- Leadresolution of critical incidents and production issues
- Performroot cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
- Reviewand govern Basis-related changes in line with ITSM processes
4. SAP Landscape Management
- Monitorsystem health, performance, and conduct regular audits (e.g., EarlyWatch)
- Managesystem copies, upgrades, patching, database administration, andbackup/recovery
- Ensurecompliance with security standards, including roles, certificates, andencryption
5. Project & Enhancement Support
- Supportsystem upgrades, rollouts, and Basis-related project activities
- Providetechnical expertise for HANA migration, S/4HANA transformation, cloudadoption, and integrations
6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identifyand implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency
- AlignBasis operations with customer architecture, ITSM practices, and long-termroadmap
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10+ years of SAP Basis experience in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on expertise across SAP landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, Fiori, BTP)
- Proven experience in system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, and migrations
- Solid knowledge of HANA database administration and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred)
- Experience in transport management, system refreshes, and release management
- Strong understanding of SAP security, certificates, and compliance practices
- Hands-on experience in incident, problem, and change management (ITIL processes)
- Ability to lead teams, manage escalations, and work in onsite-offshore models
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and troubleshooting skills
