SAP Basis Senior Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (e.g. development, test, training and production).
• Set up multiple SAP systems across the SAP landscape including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, ERP, SOLMAN, BW, etc.,
• Work with partners to ensure set up cloud based SAP instances
• Proactively monitor the System requirements for latest releases of SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules - Adopt and implement the SAP Best Practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP BASIS related issues
• Install and configure all required SAP database servers and application servers.
• Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades.
• Develop and maintain system documentation
• Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles.

Requirements:

• Min 4 years of relevant SAP BASIS experience
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and cloud environment is desirable
• At least 1 full cycle SAP BASIS implementation project experience
• Possess/willing to acquire Security & Authorisation skills
• Strong communication skills to interact with relevant stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions
• Familiar with project methodology and tools
• Team player in a culturally diversified environment
• Willing to learn/cross train to keep abreast of technology trends
• Able to work independently and escalate when necessary
