SAP BO MIGRATION SPECIALIST

Job Description:

• Plan and execute the migration from SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.3 to BI 2025 with
• minimal business disruption.
• Migrate reports, universes, connections, folders, users, security and dependencies
• using Promotion Management.
• Manage users, groups, roles, object-level permissions, and authentication to ensure
• secure access.
• Ensure schedules, publications and automated report distribution continue to
• function correctly after migration.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Web Intelligence (WebI) during migration and post-go-live.
• Maintain Information Design Tool (IDT), troubleshoot database connections, and
• resolve metadata issues.
• Troubleshoot migration failures, corrupted reports, scheduling issues, and platform
• performance bottlenecks.
• Produce migration documentation, testing evidence, deployment procedures and
• provide post-go-live support.

Job Requirement:

• SAP BO Experience: Minimum of 5 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP
• BusinessObjects administration and development.
• Proven experience migrating environments to newer versions (experience with SAP
• BO 2025 or late 4.x versions is highly desirable).
• Deep expertise in Central Management Console (CMC), Promotion Management,
• Information Design Tool (IDT).
• Strong expertise in Web Intelligence (WebI) report creation, formatting, formulas, and
• variables.
• Advanced SQL: Must possess strong SQL skills for backend data validation.
