Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Business Analyst PTP with strong expertise in SAP MM (Procure to Pay) and SAP Ariba to join the Global SAP Centre of Excellence in Kuala Lumpur. This role involves both project leadership and long-term support within an SAP S/4HANA environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) supporting PTP processes.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into SAP solutions aligned with SAP standards and the global SAP S/4 template.
- Lead small enhancement projects and provide long-term application support, including incident resolution and system enhancements.
- Provide hands-on support for SAP S/4HANA PTP (MM) and its integration with SD, PP, and FICO modules.
- Develop and maintain knowledge transfer documentation and business process documentation.
- Collaborate remotely with global stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Quickly build strong understanding of global PTP processes (within 13 months).
- Evaluate cross-stream impacts of proposed solutions and ensure adherence to SAP standards and foundational templates.
- Proactively build strong relationships with IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with EH&S policies, site safety guidelines, and 5S standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related business field.
- 7+ years of experience with strong process knowledge in SAP MM (Procure to Pay).
- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba.
- Strong integration knowledge with SD, PP, and FICO modules.
- Experience in SAP support environments and/or SAP implementation projects.
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written English); Mandarin is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess impact and implement end-to-end solutions.
- Self-starter capable of working independently in a remote and matrix organization.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior business analysts (added advantage).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience in SAP Manufacturing-related processes.
- Exposure to SAP Solution Manager for change, transport, and incident management.
- Experience working in international or geographically distributed teams.
- Experience with SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM).
- Experience with JAGGAER eProcurement (ePro).
