About the Job

Our client, a leading metal stamping and precision press tool supplier, is looking for a motivated SAP Consultant to support SAP implementation and ensure smooth operations in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SAP processes, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to system optimization. Proficiency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with regional teams.

Job Responsibilities

SAP Operations & Maintenance

Provide support for SAP user operations, including troubleshooting, inquiries, enhancements, and maintaining educational materials.

Optimize SAP systems by leveraging the capabilities, and aligning them with user requirements and business needs.

SAP Implementation & Upgrades

Manage the implementation of S/4 HANA across group companies.

Conduct business analysis, propose improvements before implementation, support deployment, and provide ongoing consultation post-implementation.

Assess additional development requests from existing SAP users, identify missing functionalities, and determine the necessity of further development.

Define IT system requirements to address business challenges and manage projects from design to development.

SAP Customization & Development

Enhance and streamline SAP systems to improve operational efficiency.

Customize SAP functionalities to align with business needs and user requests.

Evaluate the feasibility of requested features, balancing user demands with system capabilities.

Develop additional features when necessary and ensure system configurations support business objectives.

Post-Deployment Support

Assist with system updates, troubleshooting, and operational challenges.

Oversee SAP system maintenance, including backup management and system optimization.

Travel:

Be willing to occasionally travel to other companies locations (China, Thailand, etc.) for projects, training, or support.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience as an SAP consultant, with a strong understanding of SAP architecture and modules

Proven track record of successful SAP implementation and support projects

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Fluency in English and the ability to work in a diverse, global environment

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) is preferred.
