Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Consultant with a strong background in SAP Finance (FICO), SAP IS-U, or SAP ABAP to support a major Utilities/Energy project. Candidates with experience in SAP FICO, SAP IS-U, SAP ABAP, SAP Finance Transformation, or SAP support projects are encouraged to apply. The consultant will be involved in business process analysis, system support, integration activities, testing, stakeholder management, and finance-related process enhancements. Candidates with Utilities, Billing, Revenue Management, or Contract Accounting exposure will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
- Participate in workshops, requirement gathering sessions, system design discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
- Support SAP Finance and billing-related business processes, including collections, payment processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Support integration activities between SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, FSCM, BI, SAP IS-U, and SAP S/4HANA.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, system defects, and batch job failures.
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, defect management, and deployment activities.
- Provide functional and technical support to business users and project stakeholders.
- Support system enhancements, process optimisation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Support audit and compliance activities related to financial and operational processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5–10 years of SAP experience.
- Experience in at least ONE of the following areas:
- SAP FICO
- SAP IS-U
- SAP FI-CA
- SAP ABAP
- SAP Finance Transformation Projects
- Experience in SAP Finance processes such as:
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Billing and Payment Processing
- Reconciliation
- Collections
- Experience working with SAP FI/CO integration.
- Knowledge or exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
- Experience in UAT, SIT, production support, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
- Functional consultants with technical understanding of ABAP, workflow, interfaces, or integrations are encouraged to apply.
Added Advantage
- Experience in Utilities, Energy, Electricity, Water, or Shared Services environments.
- Exposure to Billing, Contract Accounting, Credit Management, or Collections processes.
- Experience in digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of the Malaysian Utilities or Energy industry.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation projects.
