What we're looking for
SAP PP/PM Consultant
We are seeking a skilled SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in either or both SAP PM and PP modules, with experience in data migration, configuration, implementation, and support. As an SAP PM/PP Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that the SAP PM and PP modules are aligned with business requirements and optimized for plant maintenance, asset management, and production planning processes.
Responsibilities
- SAP PM/PP Data Migration: Well versed with in-depth knowledge of the PM/PP related tables and data migration tools & concepts.
- SAP PM/PP Module Configuration: Configure and implement SAP PM/PP solutions based on business requirements, ensuring that the system runs efficiently and effectively supports procurement and inventory management processes.
- Implementation Support: Act as a lead or support consultant during the SAP PM/PP implementation and rollout projects. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and provide solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues related to the SAP PM/PP module. Troubleshoot technical and functional issues and work on system enhancements to meet changing business needs.
- Integration with Other Modules: Ensure seamless integration of the SAP PM/PP module with other SAP modules, such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), SAP MM (Material Management), and SAP FI/CO (Finance and Controlling).
- Customization: Customize SAP PM/PP to meet specific business needs related to material master data, procurement processes, stock management, and vendor relationships.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed functional specifications, process documentation, and user manuals for SAP PM/PP implementations and upgrades.
- System Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate the configured SAP PM/PP solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements within the SAP PM/PP module. Stay current on SAP best practices and new features related to the PM/PP module.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. An SAP certification in PM/PP or a related area is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an SAP PM/PP consultant or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in SAP PM/PP module data migration, configuration, implementation, and support.
- Knowledge of business processes related to plant maintenance, asset management, and production planning
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with other SAP consultants.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP PM/PP module configuration, including material master, procurement, inventory management, and purchasing processes.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot SAP PM/PP issues and provide effective solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing small SAP projects or workstreams.
- Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
