We are seeking a seasoned Data Migration Functional Expert with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Forecast-to-Stock (F2S) processes, and large-scale SAP data migration projects. The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered end-to-end F2S data migration solutions and bring deep domain knowledge in one or more industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Oil, Retail & Consumer Goods, etc.).
Key Responsibilities & Expertise
SAP PP/MM & F2S Data Migration Expertise:
- Lead the design, mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of F2S data objects, including demand planning, forecasting, production scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management, and stock optimization.
- Customize migration strategies to align with unique business requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards and SAP best practices.
Business Process Analysis & Data Quality:
- Analyze current F2S data structures and processes, identify pain points, and propose standardization or automation opportunities for migration.
- Design scalable, efficient data migration process flows to improve data integrity, forecast accuracy, production efficiency, and inventory control.
Cross-Module Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration of migrated F2S data with related modules (SD, FI/CO, QM) for unified data flow and operational continuity.
- Handle process dependencies such as demand management, procurement, production execution, and financial reconciliation during migration.
End-User Enablement & Support:
- Develop and deliver training for F2S cycle users on data migration processes, validation, reconciliation, and post-migration support.
- Provide expert-level support for operational issues such as forecast errors, stock shortages, and production bottlenecks post-migration.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for migration strategies, mapping rules, functional specifications, test scripts, and training guides.
- Ensure documentation supports traceability, audit requirements, and handover throughout the migration project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay updated on the latest innovations in SAP PP/MM, F2S data migration tools, SAP S/4HANA migration methodologies, and SAP Fiori apps.
- Drive ongoing improvements in data migration lifecycle for better forecast accuracy and optimized stock levels.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP/MM, F2S process implementation, and data migration projects.
- Proven experience in end-to-end SAP data migration delivery from blueprinting to post-go-live support.
- Strong understanding of F2S data objects, migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit), and data validation techniques.
- Integration knowledge with SD, FI/CO, and QM modules.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in global delivery models with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) and/or Manufacturing industries.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP/MM, SAP IBP, SAP Fiori apps for planning and production, or advanced planning tools.
- Familiarity with SAP data migration methodologies and digital manufacturing solutions.
Education Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Master's degree (e.g., MBA in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management) is preferred.
- SAP Certification in SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing, or SAP Data Migration is highly desirable.
