Position Overview:
As the SAP Lead at Clarks, you will play a pivotal role in leading our SAP initiatives, ensuring seamless integration across business functions. This position requires a strategic thinker with deep SAP expertise to guide our internal team and external partners, foster robust architecture, and contribute to high-impact projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Team and Partner Leadership: Lead and mentor a cross-functional SAP team, including developers, analysts, and consultants. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines, and quality standards. Foster a collaborative culture that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Architecture and Planning: Drive the design and implementation of scalable, efficient SAP architectures. Ensure best practices in system design, integration, and optimization to support Clarks operational needs. Lead planning efforts for SAP upgrades, migrations, and enhancements, mitigating risks and maximizing ROI
- Strategic Contributions: Assist in developing and executing SAP strategies that align with Clarks overall business objectives. Provide expert input on roadmap planning, technology trends, and innovation opportunities to enhance efficiency and competitiveness
- Business and Technical Initiatives: Spearhead key projects involving SAP modules (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, Fiori) across finance, supply chain, retail, and other core areas. Identify and prioritize initiatives that address business challenges, improve processes, and leverage emerging technologies
- Support and Change Management: Oversee day-to-day SAP support operations, including incident resolution, performance monitoring, and user training. Simultaneously manage change initiatives, such as system enhancements, custom developments, and integrations with other enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, e-commerce platforms)
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all SAP activities adhere to regulatory requirements, data security standards, and industry best practices. Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain system integrity and reliability
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements, communicate progress, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Qualifications:
- SAP Expertise: Proven track record with at least 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAP environments, including implementation, configuration, and optimization. Strong knowledge of core SAP modules
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience leading SAP teams and managing partner relationships in a complex organizational setting. Ability to inspire and develop talent while driving project success
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of SAP architecture
- Business Acumen: Experience working in retail, manufacturing, or supply chain sectors, with a strong ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Cross-Functional Experience: Proven ability to handle both operational support and transformational change projects, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategy.
