Job Summary

We are seeking an experiencedSAP FICO Functional Consultantto support the design, configuration, and implementation ofSAP Finance (FICO)solutions within anSAP S/4HANA environment. The role will focus oncore financial processes, financial reporting, and integration with other SAP modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM).

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions and support full project lifecycle activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesSAP FICO Functional Configuration
  • Configure and supportSAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO)modules in anSAP S/4HANA environment.

  • Manage and support key financial processes including:

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Asset Accounting

    • Cost Center Accounting

    • Financial reporting and closing processes

    • Intercompany transactions and reconciliation

  • Ensure properfinancial data structure, account determination, and system configuration.

Business Analysis & Solution Design
  • Gather and analyzebusiness and finance requirementsfrom stakeholders.

  • Map business processes and translate them intofunctional specifications and system configurations.

  • Prepare functional design documents forRICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with:

    • Sales and Distribution (SD)

    • Materials Management (MM)

  • Collaborate with technical teams and developers to deliver system enhancements and solutions.

Project Implementation & Testing
  • Participate inend-to-end SAP implementation projects, including:

    • Business blueprint / solution design

    • System configuration

    • Unit Testing

    • System Integration Testing (SIT)

    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

    • Cutover planning

    • Go-Live and post-go-live support

  • Supportregression testing and system validationduring system changes and upgrades.

Production Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Provideproduction supportby troubleshooting system issues and identifying root causes.

  • Recommend and implementprocess improvements and system enhancements.

  • Work closely with business users to ensure solutions align with operational needs.

Documentation & Training
  • Preparefunctional documentation, process flows, and configuration guides.

  • Developtraining materials and conduct user training sessionsto support system adoption.

QualificationsExperience
  • Minimum8+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant.

  • Strong hands-on experience in:

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Asset Accounting

    • Cost Center Accounting

    • Financial reporting and reconciliation

    • Intercompany accounting processes

Technical Knowledge
  • Experience working withSAP S/4HANA Finance.

  • Exposure toSAP Fiori applicationsis preferred.

  • Strong understanding ofintegration with SAP SD and MM modules.


Industry Experience (Preferred)
  • Experience inOil & Gas, Manufacturing, or large enterprise SAP environmentsis an advantage.

Project Experience
  • Must have participated inat least one full-cycle SAP implementation project.

Skills
  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively withbusiness and IT teams in cross-functional environments.
