Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solutioning and delivery for the incorporation of new subsidiaries and creation of new company codes setup into SAP. The role spans solution design, configuration, integration, and data migration/cutover to ensure clean Balance Sheet & P&L openings, AP/AR open item carry-forward, and Asset Buy/Sell transfers. Scope covers GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, PS, EIB, and compliance with e-invoicing requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Own Record-to-Report architecture covering General Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Project System.

Produce solution design documents, configuration rationales, and RICEFW specifications.

Establish new organizational structures including:

Creation of company codes, business areas, profit centers, and cost centers aligned to group reporting standards.

Defining chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, currency settings, and ledger configurations for new entities.

Design and deliver customized solutions to meet complex business requirements.

Work closely with technical teams to develop, review, and optimize custom programs, enhancements, and interfaces.

Configure and implement: GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Project System, Electronic Intercompany Billing (EIB), Cost Allocation (assessment/distribution cycles), Planning & Budgeting (PCA/PS budgeting, AVAC).

Integrate with FSCM, MDG, EAM/PM, SD, BW/BCS, Process Director/OpenText, CFIN, and EWM.

Own cutover strategy for Balance Sheet & P&L openings, AP/AR open items, Asset Buy/Sell transfers using LTMC/LTMOM, LSMW, IDocs, and BAPIs.

Ensure compliance with e-invoicing mandates and statutory reporting for AP/AR.

Lead E2E test strategy (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT), defect triage, and release management.

Act as primary design authority, run workshops, mentor consultants, and coordinate onsite/offshore delivery.

Gather and validate business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interactions, translate them into functional and technical specifications.

Champion change management and user adoption strategies during implementation and rollout.

Required Experience & Qualifications

12+ years in SAP Finance, 5+ years as Solution Architect.

Prior experience in company code setup and end-to-end implementation of SAP projects.

Expertise in FI-CO configuration across GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, PS, EIB.

Strong knowledge of cost allocation, planning & budgeting, and e-invoice compliance.

Proven experience in data migration and cutover.

SAP S/4HANA FICO certification required.

Experience in designing and implementing complex integration scenarios with FSCM, MDG, SD, BW/BCS, and third-party systems.

Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and ability to lead workshops and fit-to-standard sessions.

Hands-on experience with RICEFW objects and managing transport landscapes.

Expertise in compliance and audit requirements (IFRS/GAAP) and SoD controls.

Ability to mentor teams and manage stakeholder expectations across global implementations.
