The SAP Finance Consultant serves as the key liaison between Finance business processes and SAP IT systems. This role's main responsibility includes integrating, implementing, and supporting SAP Finance solutions (FI and CO modules) that enhance financial operations and meet business requirements. The Consultant collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure effective delivery of SAP Finance functionalities on time, within budget, and aligned with architectural guidelines.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and participate in SAP Finance (FI/CO) change requests and implementation projects.
  • Develop, challenge, and validate business cases and requirements related to SAP Finance.
  • Validate SAP Finance solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), roll-out activities, and handover to operations.
  • Work closely with global IT and finance teams, as well as external vendors, to resolve complex SAP Finance issues.
  • Maintain SAP Finance system documentation, process flows, and knowledge base articles.

What You Will Need


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, IT, Business Management, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO (including Product Costing), covering configuration, implementation, and support across both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance systems.
  • Strong knowledge of cross-module finance integration (value flows) across core ERP modules (Procurement, Manufacturing, Sales).
  • Solid project management skills, including knowledge of methodologies, prioritization, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic, matrixed global organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to translate complex business requirements into SAP technical solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and professional liaison skills, capable of effectively partnering with IT and business stakeholders globally. Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and quality assurance processes
