Job Title: SAP FI/CO Consultant (R2R) – 12 Months Contract (Expendable)
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
We are hiring an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant with strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes for a 12-month contract role based in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will have proven end-to-end SAP project experience from blueprinting to post–go-live support, with deep knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and cross-module integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP FI/CO and R2R process implementation and support activities
- Manage full project lifecycle from blueprinting, configuration, testing, to go-live and hypercare
- Handle financial closing, reporting, asset accounting, and integration with MM, SD, and other SAP modules
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams in a delivery model environment
- Support audit, compliance, and financial control requirements
- Provide issue resolution, enhancements, and continuous system improvements
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP FI/CO and R2R processes
- Strong experience in end-to-end SAP project delivery
- Solid understanding of financial closing, reporting, and asset accounting
- Experience in SAP integration with other functional modules
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working with global stakeholders and teams
Preferred Skills
- Industry experience in Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) and/or Manufacturing
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP Fiori apps for finance
- Knowledge of advanced financial analytics, audit, and regulatory compliance
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, or related field (mandatory)
- MBA or master's degree in a related discipline (preferred)
- SAP Certification in SAP FI/CO or SAP S/4HANA Finance (highly desirable)
