Job Description: SAP Functional Consultant FI / MM / SD (Strong in SD)

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with hands-on expertise in SAP SD and working knowledge of FI and MM modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. This role involves close collaboration with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless system operations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Provide end-to-end functional support for SAP SD and integration touchpoints with FI and MM.
- Perform configuration, testing (SIT & UAT), troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Lead functional design sessions and translate business needs into SAP solutions.
- Handle pricing procedures, invoicing, delivery processing, order-to-cash cycles, credit management, and billing in SD.
- Provide support for FI (AP/AR/GL) and MM (procurement, inventory management) when required.
- Identify system gaps and propose enhancement solutions.
- Coordinate with ABAP team for custom developments, functional specifications, and defect fixes.
- Participate in system upgrades, rollouts, and new implementation projects.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and governance frameworks.
- Provide user training and prepare relevant training materials.
- Support daily operations, incident management, and service requests.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years to 10 years of SAP functional experience, with strong focus on SD.
- Good understanding of SD integrations with FI (billing, revenue recognition) and MM (purchase-to-pay).
- Experience in SD pricing, tax configuration, rebates, credit management, and returns.
- Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments.
- Ability to write and review functional specifications.
- Good understanding of master data (customers, materials, pricing conditions).
- Experience supporting SAP production environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementation.
- Exposure to FMCG / manufacturing / supply chain industries.
- Understanding of EDI, IDoc flows, and interface troubleshooting.
- SAP certification in SD, FI, or MM (added advantage).
