A day in the life:
As the Logistics and Distribution Lead, you'll be the powerhouse driving cross-functional coordination between business stakeholders, global process owners, and implementation partners to unleash epic logistics process improvements, data readiness, and successful project execution. You'll turbocharge organizational adoption by leading user acceptance testing, training, communication, and hypercare, ensuring a seamless transition to cutting-edge logistics processes and technologies.
The impact you'll make:
- Partner with Digital Transformation and Supply Chain Transformation teams to ensure S/4HANA and logistics related global initiatives align with APAC business requirements and are effectively delivered.
- Ensure delivery of all assigned APAC Logistics and Distribution tasks, providing timely updates to Digital Transformation leadership on risks, dependencies, and opportunities. Manage distribution processes, efficiencies, and timely delivery of products.
- Drive all APAC S/4HANA logistics and distribution project activity as the key regional point of contact, working closely with SMEs across regions, Global Process Owners, Project Management teams, and external implementation partners.
- Proactively engage with APAC Logistics and Distribution stakeholders, seeking opportunities for process improvements and alignment across end-to-end order-to-delivery, warehousing, and transportation processes. Implement strategies to improve distribution.
- Develop a communication plan to provide regular updates to the APAC Logistics and Distribution team, building relationships to engage, influence, and motivate the team through change.
- Write and contribute to detailed user stories that articulate logistics and distribution business needs and expected outcomes, and support measurement of current KPIs.
- Actively participate in the design of system solutions and end-to-end logistics and distribution processes, including reviewing and validating functional design documents and documenting current-state (as-is) processes and requirements.
- Manage realistic test scenarios, prepare and cleanse test data, review and execute test scripts, and validate system integration testing results across end-to-end logistics flows. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), including Day in the Life testing, gather feedback, validate end-to-end processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, and format logistics master data.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a distribution environment.
- Support data validation, conversion, and cutover activities; support Change Management through identifying key changes and training needs; lead and support training sessions; and provide subject-matter-expert hypercare support and SOP updates.
Who you are:
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Supply chain, logistics, or business or related field of study.
- Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Computer Skills Desired: SAP ECC / S4 HANA / SAP TMS / SAP EWM.
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Fluent English preferred.
