About Us

Würth IT, a dynamic and forward-thinking IT organization within the Würth Group, is growing its team in Malaysia. We are looking for dedicated professionals to join us as part of our global network, working together to deliver cutting-edge IT solutions that enhance security, efficiency, and reliability. As a member of the Würth IT team, you'll collaborate with colleagues worldwide, providing specialized support and promoting the innovative IT services we offer. Your work will play a crucial role in strengthening the operations of Würth Group companies across the globe, driving impactful results within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP Logistics Support Consultant (WM/EWM) to join our global logistics support team. In this role, you will provide second-level support for both SAP WM and SAP EWM, ensuring smooth and reliable operations across diverse warehouse environments within the Würth Group.

While you will contribute to both WM and EWM support, the focus of this position is SAP EWM, as our organization continues to expand its use of this solution. We are therefore looking for candidates who bring strong EWM expertise, combined with a practical background in warehouse or logistics operations. Ideally, you have worked in environments where SAP EWM was implemented or supported, giving you a clear understanding of both the system and the day-to-day processes it supports.

Your combination of hands-on logistics experience and SAP system knowledge will enable you to analyze incidents, document and improve processes, advise users effectively, and collaborate closely with third-level experts to ensure sustainable and reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Handle incidents and customer requests in SAP Solution Manager, including requirements gathering, error analysis, and providing proposed solutions for implementation by higher-level support.

  • Provide in-depth analysis and resolution for SAP WM and EWM incidents at second-level support. Collaborate with third-level support for complex cases, ensuring accurate documentation, testing, and follow-up until resolution.

  • Support the implementation of sustainable solutions by coordinating with third-level support, ensuring proper testing and deployment.

  • Advise internal teams and users on logistics processes within the SAP environment, leveraging your operational knowledge.

  • Document processes, solutions, and best practices to build a strong knowledge base and ensure consistent support quality.

  • Enhance and optimize support processes, knowledge management, and standard operating procedures.

  • Apply your warehouse and logistics background to validate system behavior against real operational workflows.

  • Collaborate with international colleagues and customers in a global support setup.

  • Occasionally travel to provide support during implementations, workshops, or trainings.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, plus several years of professional experience in SAP support, ideally focused on logistics.

  • SAP Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP EWM (priority) and solid knowledge of SAP WM/MM, with additional exposure to logistics components such as warehouse automation (MFS integration), transport service provider connections, or SAP TM.

  • Technical Skills: Practical experience with customizing and debugging to support error analysis.

  • Practical Experience: Hands-on background in warehouse or logistics operations, ideally including participation in SAP EWM implementations.

  • Documentation Skills: Proven ability to document processes, solutions, and procedures in a structured and accessible way.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, solution orientation, and structured working style.

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally on occasion for project, support, or training assignments.

  • Customer Orientation: Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and deliver practical, value-driven support.

Join Us

At Würth IT, your SAP EWM expertise, WM knowledge, and real-world logistics experience will make a meaningful difference. You'll work in a collaborative global team, support both WM and EWM solutions, and play a key role in strengthening process documentation and knowledge sharing. Together, we will build reliable IT systems that underpin the logistics backbone of the Würth Group worldwide.
