You are a highly experienced IT professional with deep expertise in supply chain planning systems, enterprise integrations, analytics platforms, and business process enablement. You combine strong technical capabilities with business acumen and are comfortable working directly with business stakeholders, external partners, and global IT teams.

You are proactive, customer-focused, analytical, and capable of driving continuous improvement across a complex application landscape. You can translate business requirements into sustainable technical solutions while ensuring operational excellence and service continuity.

Position Summary

The Manager, SAP Planning & Data Integration Solutions is responsible for the support, administration, enhancement, and continuous improvement of Lumileds planning and analytics ecosystem, including SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), SAP Cloud Platform Integration/Data Services (CPI-DS), SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and related data warehouse and integration solutions.

The role acts as the primary subject matter expert and service owner for planning data integrations and analytics platforms, ensuring reliable business operations, application availability, solution delivery, and alignment with business objectives. The position partners closely with Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Manufacturing, and IT teams globally.

The role is expected to drive solution improvements, manage incidents and enhancement requests, coordinate project delivery, support integrations between enterprise systems, and provide leadership in planning and analytics transformation initiatives.

What You Will Do:

Application Ownership & Support

  • Serve as application owner and primary SME for SAP IBP planning solutions.
  • Manage SAP CPI-DS integrations supporting planning, forecasting, and master-data processes.
  • Support SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud environments.
  • Ensure operational stability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate incident-, problem-, and change-management activities.

Solution Delivery & Continuous Improvement

  • Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Deliver new functionality, enhancements, and process improvements.
  • Lead testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Manage solution roadmaps for planning, analytics, and data integration platforms.
  • Identify automation opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.

Data Integration & Analytics

  • Design and maintain interfaces between SAP and non-SAP platforms.
  • Support enterprise data integration architecture and data quality initiatives.
  • Ensure reliable operation of data pipelines, scheduling processes, and business-critical interfaces.
  • Collaborate with Data Warehouse, BI, and Analytics teams on reporting and analytical requirements.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Operations teams globally.
  • Act as the escalation point for major incidents and business-critical issues.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, consulting partners, and managed service providers.
  • Support governance, documentation, knowledge transfer, and training activities.

Project Leadership

  • Lead medium- to large-scale enhancement and transformation projects.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across global teams.
  • Support planning-related digital transformation initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of best practices and standardization across supported platforms.

Service Management

  • Monitor service performance and SLA compliance.
  • Review backlog, enhancement requests, and operational metrics.
  • Ensure proper documentation, change controls, and operational procedures.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and security requirements.

What You Will Bring (Required Qualifications)

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP planning, integration, analytics, or enterprise application support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP IBP.
  • Strong experience with SAP CPI-DS and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience supporting SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Experience working with data warehousing, ETL processes, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes, forecasting, demand planning, and data management.
  • Experience managing incidents, enhancements, releases, and operational support activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a global, matrixed environment.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors and outsourced resources.

Education (Minimum Level):

  • Bachelor's Degree

Field of Study

  • Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related fields.

Years of Experience (Minimum)

  • 8+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP IBP certification.
  • SAP Datasphere certification.
  • SAP Analytics Cloud experience.
  • SAP HANA experience.
  • SQL, ETL, and data integration expertise.
  • Experience within manufacturing and supply chain environments.
  • Experience managing global application support services.
  • Exposure to Tableau, enterprise reporting, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience leading global projects and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Open to candidates with at least 6 years of experience with SAP in a global Manufacturing company
  • Several years of operational and strategic experience in a relevant role.
  • Prior work experience across multiple (working) cultures in a global corporation is essential.
  • Possesses familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and other collaborative tools.
  • Fluent in English and other languages are a bonus.
