SAP PM ConsultantWe are looking for an experiencedSAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultantto support and enhance enterprise maintenance operations within SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP PM processes, including equipment lifecycle management, maintenance planning, work order management, and integration with SAP MM, FI/CO, and PS modules.
Key ResponsibilitiesSAP PM Functional Support- Support end-to-end SAP Plant Maintenance processes including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance
- Manage maintenance notifications, work orders, execution, and closure
- Provide L2/L3 production support in AMS environments
- Ensure smooth functioning of SAP PM business processes
Equipment & Technical Object Management- Maintain equipment master data and functional locations
- Manage Bills of Materials (BOM) for maintenance objects
- Ensure proper structuring and hierarchy of technical objects
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling- Configure and support maintenance plans (single cycle and strategy-based)
- Manage task lists for equipment and functional locations
- Monitor maintenance scheduling, backlog, and resource allocation
Work Order Management- Manage full lifecycle of maintenance orders from creation to closure
- Support planning activities including materials, labor, and external services
- Ensure accurate cost tracking and settlement to cost centers or assets
Integration with Other SAP Modules- Work closely with SAP MM, FI/CO, and PS teams
- Ensure seamless integration for material procurement, service management, and financial postings
- Support end-to-end business process alignment across modules
Incident Management & Enhancements- Resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues within agreed SLAs
- Analyze and fix data inconsistencies and functional issues
- Support minor enhancements and prepare functional specifications
- Coordinate with technical teams (ABAP) for custom developments
Reporting & Analytics- Support reporting on equipment history, maintenance costs, and downtime analysis
- Track key maintenance KPIs such as MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures)
- Support data accuracy for operational reporting
Documentation & Compliance- Maintain functional specifications, configuration documents, and SOPs
- Ensure adherence to audit, safety, and maintenance compliance standards
Required Skills & Experience- 3–7 years of experience in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
- Strong experience in SAP PM end-to-end processes
- Hands-on experience in AMS/support projects
- Good understanding of integration with SAP MM, FI/CO, and PS modules
- Ability to handle business users and resolve production issues effectively
Preferred Skills- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments
- Experience in KPI reporting (MTTR, MTBF, downtime analysis)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities
