SAP PP Senior Consultant:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Senior Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP Production Planning (PP) solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong end-to-end SAP implementation experience, excellent manufacturing process knowledge, and hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA PP with integration to other SAP Logistics modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design SAP PP solutions aligned with manufacturing processes.
- Configure and support SAP PP functionalities including:
- Production Planning
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Production Orders
- Capacity Planning
- Shop Floor Control
- Demand Management
- Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Routings and Work Centers
- Lead workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution design sessions.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers on enhancements.
- Perform system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), defect resolution, and production support.
- Support data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
- Integrate SAP PP with MM, QM, SD, PM, EWM, and FICO modules.
- Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Mentor junior consultants and support project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years of SAP PP consulting experience.
- At least 1–3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Strong hands-on SAP PP configuration experience.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
- Good understanding of manufacturing business processes.
- Experience in:
- MRP
- Production Orders
- Capacity Planning
- BOM
- Routing
- Shop Floor Control
- Strong integration knowledge with MM, QM, SD, PM, and FICO.
- Experience with data migration, testing, and go-live support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- SAP PP Certification is an advantage.
