Job Title: SAP Business Analyst - PTP
Location : KL, Malaysia
Duration : 12 Months Contract & Extendable
Job Description:
SAP PTP Business Analysis ERP Expert based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The position will be working as part of the Global SAP Centre of Excellence
This position requires a good understanding and exposure in SAP modules around PTP (Procure to Pay) and its integration with other modules such as SD, PP and FICO
In this role you will be required to gather and analyze Business requirements for improvements and implement business solutions based on validated user requirements, adhering to SAP standard and to the PPG SAP S/4 Global template
This position has a dual purpose of leading small projects and long term support which will includes hands on resolution of incidents, system enhancement requests, and project support in SAP S/4.
Developing and supporting knowledge transfer documentations and process
You will liaise remotely with a number of your colleagues across the globe
Within a matrix organization you will report to SAP CoE Operations PTP Lead, APAC
Performance Achievements
You will be required to build knowledge of the SBU processes within a short timeframe (1 3 months) in order to facilitate rapid solutioning
You will be proactive in building excellent working relationships with both your IT colleagues and business stakeholders
You will need to be a self-starter who can quickly develop good understanding of our Procure to Pay processes across the globe (within 3 months)
You will be required to evaluate the x-stream impact of any solutions proposed and ensure that SAP standard/our foundational template is adhered to as closely as possible
Assist the site to achieve and maintain zero recordable injuries by ensuring you follow health and safety guidelines and actively participate in regular safety programs
Ensure adherence to EH&S policy and procedures and any other site-specific safety guidelines
Act in an environmentally responsible manner and adhere to site 5S safety standards
Key Competence Requirements
You'll need to have:
A degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related field is required.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written English) including technical writing
Strong interpersonal skills and human resource management skills
Min 7 years experience with strong process knowledge of Material Management and its integration with other modules such as SD, PP and FICO
Related working experience in SAP support environment and/or SAP project implementation in the areas of Material Management
An outstanding self-starter with a commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Broad analytical and technical skills to isolate problems, assess their criticality, identify solutions, and implement complete solutions
Ability to collaborate, work independently and work efficiently in a remote working organization without close supervision
Highly curious with strong desire to discover new learnings and flexible in a problem-solving environment.
Soft skills in leading, developing and coaching junior business analyst will be an advantage
Preferred requirements with knowledge or experience with the following:
Related working experience in SAP support environment and/or SAP project implementation in the areas of Manufacturing
Experience using SAP Solution Manager toolset for managing changes, transports and incidents is a plus.
Experience working in an international/virtual/geographically distributed team
Experience in SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) will be an advantage
Experience in JAGGAER eProcurement (ePro) will be an advantage
