Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and enhance SAP SD capabilities across the ANZ region. This role will be responsible for end-to-end SAP SD solution delivery including configuration, integration, custom developments, testing, business process improvements, and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will bring strong SAP S/4HANA experience and the ability to partner with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP SD processes including:
- Order Management
- Pricing
- Billing
- Copy Controls
- Output Determination
- Perform SAP SD configuration and master data setup activities.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and related modules including MM, TM, and FI.
- Prepare and deliver functional specifications, unit test plans, and test scripts.
- Guide business stakeholders on SAP best practices and continuous process improvements.
- Deliver and support custom developments and enhancements in collaboration with technical teams.
- Provide application support including requirements analysis, troubleshooting, configuration changes, and enhancements.
- Prepare and execute unit testing and coordinate integration and user acceptance testing activities.
- Support adoption of business process changes through documentation, training, and communication plans.
- Work collaboratively with SAP functional and technical teams and business users across requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Analyze and resolve user-reported issues, defects, and performance concerns.
- Collaborate with development, testing, and project teams to deliver solutions effectively.
- Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation, user guides, and knowledge base materials.
- Implement SAP fixes, SNotes, patches, and upgrades for SAP SD modules with technical support teams.
- Perform quality assurance testing to maintain solution integrity and system performance.
- Stay updated with SAP releases, enhancements, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in SAP SD implementation and/or support environments.
- Strong expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) including configuration, customization, and integrations.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Experience delivering custom developments and enhancements.
- Knowledge of SAP ABAP and ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage competing priorities.
- Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions.
- Understanding of Transportation Management (TM) processes and industry best practices.
- SAP SD Certification preferred.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Exposure to large-scale SAP transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
