What we're looking for
SAP SD Consultant
We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our team. The consultant will be responsible for data migration, configuring, customizing, and implementing the SAP Sales and Distribution module to streamline business processes related to sales, distribution, order processing, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP SD, a deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to work with clients to deliver optimal solutions.
Responsibilities
- SAP SD Data Migration: Well versed with in-depth knowledge on the SD related tables and data migration tools & concepts.
- SAP SD Module Configuration: Configure and implement SAP SD module to meet the business requirements of clients, including the integration of SAP SD with other modules like MM (Material Management), FI (Finance), and WM (Warehouse Management).
- Implementation Support: Act as a lead or support consultant during the SAP SD implementation and rollout projects. Work with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and provide solutions within SAP SD.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues related to the SAP SD module. Troubleshoot technical and functional issues and work on system enhancements to meet changing business needs.
- Integration with Other Modules: Ensure smooth integration of SAP SD with other SAP modules like SAP MM, SAP FICO, and SAP WM to maintain data consistency and efficient process flow.
- Customization: Customize the SAP SD system as per the client's needs. This includes setting up sales document types, pricing procedures, credit management, delivery processing, and invoicing.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed functional specifications, process documentation, and user manuals for SAP SD implementations and upgrades.
- System Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate the configured SAP SD solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with business users to identify opportunities for process improvements within the SAP SD module. Stay current on SAP best practices and new features related to the SD module.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly qualified candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field. SAP certification in SD or related areas is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an SAP SD consultant or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in SAP SD module data migration, configuration, implementation, and support.
- In-depth understanding of the sales process, order-to-cash cycle, pricing, billing, and shipping processes.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with other SAP consultants.
- Expertise in SAP SD configuration, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, delivery, and integration with other SAP modules like MM, WM, and FI/CO.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot SAP SD issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing small SAP projects or workstreams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or recent versions of SAP.
- Familiarity with SAP CRM, SAP BW/BI, or other SAP modules that integrate with SAP SD.
- Knowledge of global SAP rollouts, multi-country, and multi-currency environments.
