Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant with proven expertise in designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP SD modules. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in SAP SD and a strong ability to develop innovative application solutions that streamline and optimize sales, order management, and distribution processes. This role also requires mentoring junior team members and driving continuous improvement through collaboration and knowledge sharing. Life Sciences / Pharma experience is preferable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Development
    • Design and implement robust SAP SD solutions that align with sales and distribution strategies.
    • Develop innovative application features that enhance order-to-cash processes and customer experience.
    • Configure SAP SD modules including Intercompany, pricing, billing, order processing, shipping, and invoicing, Third party processes, Extensive experience on working on all types RICEFW's.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance
    • Perform thorough unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure quality and functionality of SAP SD solutions.
    • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders from Sales, Finance, Logistics, and IT to gather and understand requirements.
    • Provide functional insights and translate business needs into technical specifications and system configurations.
  • Continuous Improvement & Industry Alignment
    • Stay updated with industry trends, SAP innovations, and best practices in sales and distribution processes.
    • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance business process efficiency and system performance.
  • Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
    • Mentor junior SAP consultants and team members by sharing expertise, best practices, and technical guidance.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment through active knowledge exchange.
  • Documentation & Support
    • Create detailed documentation for configurations, solutions, and user procedures.
    • Provide end-user training and post-go-live support to ensure smooth system adoption

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP SD module configuration and support.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP SD, including:
    • Sales Order Processing
    • Pricing and Conditions Techniques
    • Billing and Invoicing
    • Shipping and Transportation
    • Credit Management and Output Determination
  • Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation or rollout project.
  • Solid understanding of SD integration with modules such as MM, FI, and CRM.
  • Ability to create functional and technical specifications for custom developments.
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging and working with technical teams is a plus.
