SAP Specialist Accountant

Position summary:

This role is based out of our Malaysian office in Kuala Lumpur. The systems accountant (Contract) is responsible for performing UAT for SAP S/4 HANA upgrade project. This role works closely with finance teams in Malaysia, Sydney and India.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparation of scenarios for testing.
• Perform UAT for the project and provide results to the implementation team.
• Engage in UAT for SAP S/4 HANA Project
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager.
• Complete project related activities as per project timeline.
• Successful delivery of finance system initiatives

Required skills and Experience:

• CIMA/ACCA/CA/CPA qualified accountant.
• 5+ years experience in systems accounting role.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO in a corporate environment.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC implementations, upgrades, or finance transformation projects.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements
• Excellent communication skills for multi-stakeholder engagement.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure.
