The SAP Support Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of SAP functionalityfrom initial requirement identification to global deployment and support.

  • Process Architecture: Lead the organization in SAP architecture and configuration, applying manufacturing business knowledge to develop best-practice workflows.
  • Functional Expertise: Drive improvements and provide high-level support across FICO, MM, PP, WM, QM, HR, and SD.
  • Integration & Orchestration: Manage complex integrations (PI/PO) and data structures, specifically focusing on the harmony between FICO, PP/APO, and other core modules.
  • Project Delivery: Collaborate with global developers and the Global SAP team to deliver cost-effective SAP enhancements and utilize SAP Solution Manager for optimized delivery.

What Are Your Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Innovation: Lead the operational and strategic roadmap for SAP, fostering innovation and organizing resource allocation to align with long-term business goals.
  • Financial & Vendor Management: Manage the financial health of SAP initiatives, including cost-benefit analyses for change requests and the negotiation/administration of vendor contracts and global service agreements.
  • System Integration & Infrastructure: Oversee the technical landscape, including network mapping, physical/virtual server management, and hardware asset management in alignment with global IM guidelines.
  • Project Leadership & Deployment: Partner with Global IT and SAP teams to execute rollout projects, ensuring seamless implementation through rigorous change request testing and production transport coordination.
  • Business Process Optimization: Apply manufacturing expertise to develop in-house software solutions and SAP configurations that streamline factory operations and device integration.
  • Operational Support & Knowledge Management: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support, while maintaining a comprehensive technical knowledge base and documentation for helpdesk activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as the primary liaison between executives, department heads, and end users; facilitate Key User meetings and provide regular reporting on SAP performance.
  • Governance & User Administration: Maintain system integrity by managing SAP user licenses, approving role requests, and overseeing account security and audits.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Educational Background & Experience: A minimum of a Degree in Information Technology (or related field) with at least 5 years of proven experience in SAP implementation and support.
  • SAP Functional Expertise: Deep functional knowledge across PP, MM, WM, and FICO modules, specifically within repetitive manufacturing and variant configuration environments.
  • Integration & Technical Architecture: Proven ability to design and build SAP PO (Process Orchestration) architecture, including expertise in endpoints, content enrichment, splitters, aggregators, and MES system integration.
  • Infrastructure & Environment Knowledge: Thorough understanding of both End-User and Server environments, including troubleshooting, hardware deployment, and SAP licensing management.
  • Strategic Business Alignment: Ability to translate complex technical SAP functionalities into business-friendly language to create compelling business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Project Leadership & Analytical Skills: Strong leadership experience in managing project lifecycles, coupled with sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify process improvements.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and maintain transparency with local management and Global IM teams.
  • Collaborative Mindset: A highly self-motivated professional who can work independently while thriving in a team-oriented, collaborative environment focused on shared organizational goals.
