We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Treasury (TRM) Consultant to drive our global enterprise financial transformation. In this role, you will take full ownership of End-to-End (E2E) Greenfield/Brownfield implementations and multi-country rollouts of the SAP Treasury and Risk Management ecosystem (ideally on SAP S/4HANA).
You will act as the core techno-functional architect and implementation lead, bridging corporate treasury operations with technical SAP configurations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully taking global templates and rolling them out locally while ensuring localized tax, regulatory, and banking connectivity requirements are precisely met.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End (E2E) Implementation & Lifecycle Delivery
- Lead full-lifecycle SAP Treasury implementations following standard methodologies (e.g., SAP Activate / Agile).
- Facilitate global design workshops to gather corporate treasury requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and author comprehensive Business Blueprint Documents (BBD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
- Lead system provisioning, functional configurations, unit testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), master data migration, and hypercare support.
2. Global Template Rollout & Localization
- Own the deployment and stabilization of the global SAP Treasury template across regional business units and entities.
- Identify, evaluate, and configure localization requirements (local legal regulations, specific currency treatments, and local tax compliances).
- Standardize financial operational workflows across newly onboarded entities while minimizing custom ABAP code (preserving the clean core philosophy).
3. Core Module Configuration & Ownership
Hands-on configuration and optimization across the following core SAP sub-modules:
- Transaction Manager: Setup of financial instruments across Money Market, Foreign Exchange (FX), Derivatives, Securities, and Debt/Loans.
- Cash & Liquidity Management: Customization of Bank Account Management (BAM/eBAM), Cash Positioning, and Liquidity Forecasting.
- Bank Communication Management (BCM) & In-House Cash (IHC): Designing multi-bank connectivity setups, payment release workflows, centralized payment factories, and intercompany net-offs.
- Risk & Hedge Management: Configuring Market Risk Analyzers, Credit Risk Analyzers, and Hedge Management and Accounting frameworks (complying with IFRS 9 / IAS 39).
4. Banking Connectivity & Ecosystem Integration
- Design and execute end-to-end banking integrations utilizing SWIFT connectivity (MT940, BAI2, CAMT.053) and Host-to-Host (H2H) secure protocols.
- Map and troubleshoot automated Payment Medium Workbench (PMW) / DMEE payment formats.
- Ensure flawless cross-module integration between SAP TRM and SAP FICO (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling).
5. Stakeholder & Change Management
- Act as the trusted advisor to Corporate Treasurers, CFOs, and regional finance heads.
- Drive change management across local teams during rollouts, creating comprehensive training documentation and conducting knowledge transfer sessions.
Qualifications & Skills
The Essentials (Must-Haves):

- Experience: Minimum 7-10+ years of SAP functional consulting experience, with at least 2-3 full End-to-End SAP Treasury implementations and at least 1-2 multi-country rollout projects completed.
- Core Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive hands-on configuration experience in SAP TRM (S/4HANA Finance environment strongly preferred).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of corporate treasury practices (liquidity management, financial instruments lifecycle, hedge structures, accounting rules).
