Role Summary
We are seeking a Developer with experience in financial and regulatory domains. The candidate will be responsible for requirement gathering, impact analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities using SAS, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, and Control-M. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
Enhancements & Change Requests
- Develop and enhance projects/CRs ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in user requirement discussions and prepare impact analysis and effort estimation.
- Deliver functionalities as per business requirements using Windows Scripting, SQL, and SAS.
Batch Job Design & Execution
- Design and build batch jobs using Control-M.
- Optimize batch processing and ensure timely execution.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Perform unit testing and system integration testing (SIT).
- Support UAT cycles, troubleshoot issues, and provide bug fixes.
Environment & Migration Management
- Raise Remedy tickets for controlled environment changes.
- Migrate deliverable objects to UAT/Production using Aldon migration tools.
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare detailed documentation for deliverables.
- Ensure all changes are compliant with audit and regulatory standards
Required Skills:
- 56 years of relevant experience in a role.
- Strong expertise in SAS technology (Base SAS + SAS VIYA), SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting.
- Experience with Control-M batch job management.
- Exposure to Linux-based environments.
- Knowledge of Finance & Regulatory domains preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver under deadlines.
