Malaysian manufacturer of natural latex rubber thread is seeking a
SCADA & PLC Programmer (Automation Engineer) to join the team. This role involves managing the entire industrial automation cycle, from creating HMI/SCADA screens to programming PLCs to keep manufacturing processes efficient, datadriven, and with minimal downtime.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, program, and commission Siemens S71200/1500 PLC systems using TIA Portal.
- Build and optimize WinCC SCADA / HMI for realtime monitoring, alarms, data logging, and analysis.
- Implement and finetune PID loops for key parameters like temperature, pressure, and motor speed.
- Configure motion control drives and manage industrial communication between field devices and the control room.
- Troubleshoot automation issues to reduce downtime and maintain updated schematics, backups, and FDS documents.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics / Automation and 35 years in industrial automation with knowledge of sensors, actuators, and pneumatics.
- Ability to link SCADA systems to SQL databases for reporting and analytics.
- Good understanding of SINAMICS Startdrive for motor and drive systems.
- Handson experience with Siemens S71200/1500 PLCs and ET200SP I/O modules.
- Strong proficiency in TIA Portal (Step 7 & WinCC), with SCL experience preferred.
