We’re hiring SCRUM Masters for a 12-month extendable contract Position for our client in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Position Details:
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Duration: 12-month with high opportunity of extension
Experience Required: 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
Primary Skills: Scrum Master, Agile Implementation, Project Management
Secondary Skills: Experience with Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow
Position 1: Scrum Master (Agile Implementer)
Position 2: Scrum Master/PM
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Facilitation & Coaching
- Guide teams on Agile principles and practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile mindset and behaviors.
Delivery Management
- Ensure timely delivery of sprint goals and project milestones.
- Track and report team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.).
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize backlogs.
Impediment Removal
- Identify and resolve blockers that hinder team progress.
- Escalate issues appropriately and coordinate with other teams or departments.
Agile Transformation
- Support enterprise-wide Agile adoption and maturity.
- Contribute to the development of Agile frameworks, playbooks, and training materials.
- Lead workshops and Agile onboarding sessions for new teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Align team deliverables with business objectives and customer needs.
- Foster transparency and trust across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Proven track record of leading Agile implementations across multiple teams.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
- Background in software development or product management.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to influence and drive change in complex, matrixed organizations
