We’re hiring SCRUM Masters for a 12-month extendable contract Position for our client in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Position Details:
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Duration: 12-month with high opportunity of extension
Experience Required: 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
Primary Skills: Scrum Master, Agile Implementation, Project Management
Secondary Skills: Experience with Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow
Position 1: Scrum Master (Agile Implementer)
Position 2: Scrum Master/PM
Key Responsibilities:
Scrum Master Duties
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Coach teams on Agile principles and practices to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
- Track team performance using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.).
- Remove impediments and foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.
Project Management Duties
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Prepare and present status reports to stakeholders and leadership.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Proven track record of leading Agile implementations across multiple teams.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
