Scrum Master, Senior Analyst (Waterfall & Agile)

Job Description:

Accenture is seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in project delivery using Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies. You will play a key role in facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and ensuring successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Guide the team and organization on Agile/Scrum best practices.

• Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress.

• Work closely with Product Owners to maintain a well-groomed product backlog.

• Identify and remove impediments to team progress.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

• Support the use of Waterfall where appropriate and manage hybrid delivery models if needed.

• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within scope.

• Foster a collaborative team environment and continuous improvement culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Exposure to or experience in traditional Waterfall project management.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a hybrid delivery environment (Agile + Waterfall).
• Familiarity with SAFe or other scaled Agile frameworks.
• Technical background or experience working with software development teams.
