About the team:
The payment integration engineering team is responsible for promoting and implementing cross-border payment solutions by onboarding financial institutions and mobile payment providers.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the business team to offer a technical perspective during presales support activities.
- Guide partners through the implementation process, providing them with best practices and technical insights to improve user experience and boost payment success rates.
- Drive the comprehensive end-to-end implementation and integration of cross-border payment solutions, coordinating with both bank/mobile payment partners and internal cross-functional teams.
- Continuously enhance payment solution offerings based on local implementation experience and learning; compile best practices for partner integration.
- Engage in hands-on development to improve the payment integration platform, aiming to enhance overall integration efficiency and partner experience.
- Expand the payment ecosystem by partnering with third-party solution providers in the market; introduce value-added services to benefit merchants and mobile payment users.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subjects.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience with at least 2 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Solid foundational knowledge and practical experience in API design and integration, database, web security, application design, and troubleshooting.
- Able to manage internal and external clients and convert business requirements into technical specifications.
- Demonstrate good business sense and experience using various technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
- Experience with Java is preferred, especially in the realm of backend or API development, and proficiency in other languages is also welcomed.
- Having experience in Fintech technology, the payments industry, and handling large-scale payment/e-commerce transactions is a significant advantage.
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred, facilitating effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
