Purpose of the position
Lead the transformation of Club Med's MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events) business in Southeast Asia Pacific (SEAP).
Translate vision into high-impact strategies that combine innovation, operational excellence, and commercial growth — empowering markets to exceed their budget ambitions.

Operational missions
Mission 1: Define, implement, and continuously refine MICE sales processes and tools across SEAP commercial and resort teams.
Mission 2: Drive operational excellence and evolve resort offerings to meet market expectations and outperform competitors.
Mission 3: Accelerate business growth through external sales tools, regional partnerships, and segmented packages.
Mission 4: Act as the regional facilitator between SEAP markets, operations, corporate functions, and APAC counterparts.
Mission 5: Lead SEAP's MICE roadmap — strategic rollout, brand activation, and cross-functional excellence.
Responsibilities & List Of Tasks
Mission 1 — Sales processes & tools
- Optimize the full MICE sales workflow (pre-sales, event days, post-sales) for efficiency and impact.
- Champion Salesforce adoption and reporting across SEAP commercial teams.
- Align regional plans with marketing strategy and market KPIs; ensure quarterly APAC alignment.
- Support commercial teams in high-value opportunities — client meetings, negotiations, site inspections.
- Represent SEAP with corporate teams to ensure seamless rollout of initiatives.
Mission 2 — Operations & product evolutions
- Refine and elevate resort offerings through new concepts and CAPEX recommendations.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal control processes across SEAP resorts.
- Conduct annual resort visits for quality control, leadership reviews, and team training.
- Lead training and implementation of MICE standards and tools.
- Support recruitment of key MICE talent to strengthen operational excellence.
- Represent MICE needs in new resort developments and major CAPEX projects.
Mission 3 — External tools, partnerships & business growth
- Maximize lead generation via LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other external tools.
- Build and manage vendor partnerships (F&B, AV, teambuilding) to enrich resort offerings.
- Co-lead regional sales events, tradeshows, and brand activations.
- Identify and grow regional business segments — affinity groups, key accounts, and multi-country partnerships.
Mission 4 — Regional facilitator
- Build and sustain the SEAP MICE sales community through onboarding, training, and regular engagement.
- Act as the key liaison across Sales, Operations, Finance, Development, and Corporate teams.
- Share best practices regionally and globally through structured updates and sessions.
- Co-organize annual APAC MICE stakeholder gatherings for alignment and strategic direction.
Mission 5 — SEAP MICE Project roll-out & strategic evolutions
- Cascade Club Med's four MICE vision pillars into SEAP's roadmap:
- Pioneer Lifestyle Brand — embed brand identity and signature experiences.
- Winning Hearts — launch marketing suite, digitize client journey, instill Yes Mindset.
- Building Fans — create loyalty schemes and flagship experiences.
- Leveraging Efficiency for Good — automate CRM, evolve group rates, and scale best practices.
- Drive cross-functional execution with Marketing, Sales, Operations, HR, and Training.
Requirements
- Educational Background in Meetings & Events Management
- Ideally 3 - 5 years of experience in events management
- The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of B2B sales processes and knowledge of Asia's MICE markets
- Strong articulation & translation of sales needs into marketing & operational deliverables.
- Experience in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Microsoft Suite of Tools
- Project management Experience in a multinational environment
- Entrepreneurial, open-minded, results-driven, analytical, and collaborative. Able to simplify complex needs into actionable strategies.
