Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Simpang Ampat for a Secondary School Computer Science Teacher based on the KSSM Malaysian curriculum. The teacher will design and implement engaging lesson plans in Computer Science (Asas Sains Komputer), incorporate technology into teaching, and assess students progress. Responsibilities include guiding students in project-based learning, developing a comprehensive curriculum along with the relevant assessments following the KSSM syllabus, and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the teacher will collaborate with colleagues to uphold NLPS's educational philosophy and promote student growth in creativity, academics, sports, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
oDeliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the KSSM syllabus for secondary students.
oPrepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessment tools that meet the learning needs of students at different levels.
oMonitor and evaluate students progress through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback and support.
oFoster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students.
oCollaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to develop and implement the school's academic programs.
o Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
