WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an inspirational, experienced and highly motivated teacher of Drama to join our team of specialists. Knowledge of the IB MYP (Middle Years Programme) and IGCSE Drama (CIE) would be an advantage.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will teach Drama across the IB MYP (Middle Years Programme) in Years 7-9 and at IGCSE level, delivering engaging, practical lessons that develop learners performance, creative and analytical skills. They will contribute actively to the co-curricular life of the school, including directing and supporting Secondary School productions, and participating in wider community events such as house competitions and performances. The role requires a collaborative practitioner who is committed to high standards of teaching, learner wellbeing and the promotion of Drama as a vibrant and inclusive part of school life. The candidate will also have a clear understanding of assessment, feedback and tracking learner progress as well as strong classroom management and the ability to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
