JobSummary

Lead the organisation's IT Security function by driving cybersecurity strategy, risk management, governance, and compliance to protect business operations. Oversee security operations, vendor performance, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring a strong security posture and regulatory compliance.

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Lead the IT Security function by developing cybersecurity strategies, policies, and security initiatives to protect business operations.
  • Manage IT security risks, business continuity, compliance, security monitoring, and continuous improvement of security controls.
  • Oversee the IT Security team by setting performance goals, developing capabilities, and ensuring successful delivery of security initiatives.
  • Manage IT Security budgets (CAPEX/OPEX), vendors, and external partners to ensure quality delivery and contractual compliance.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver secure solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor security performance, manage cybersecurity incidents, and provide regular reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior management and governance committees.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 18 years of experience in IT, with strong expertise in cybersecurity, IT risk management, and security governance.
  • Experience leading IT security teams, managing vendors, budgets, business continuity, and enterprise security initiatives.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, IT operations, compliance, telecommunications systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead security initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
