This role leads and manages contract manufacturing partners by overseeing outsourcing operations, resolving production issues, coordinating capacity and cost management, and driving continuous improvement through cross‑functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing all import and export business and process planning of the factory
Responsible for local team management and capability improvement
Responsible for communication and handling of customs affairs
Support for other customs-related work (LMW, A1, A2, A3, M1, M2, Certificate of Origin)
Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of deliveries to ensure timely fulfilment
Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of team members
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics and transportation plans with overall business objectives
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols
Any ad-hoc tasks as per assigned by manager.
Qualifications Required
Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Studies, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of contract manufacturing, production planning, cost management, and supply chain operations.
Proficient in SAP systems.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Malay.
Personal Qualities
Excellent communication skills for working with internal departments, freight forwarders, and government agencies.
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
