Otis is growing and we are recruiting a Section Manager for our Field Service team, in the Kuala Lumpur territory or business. The main goal of the role is to provide day-to-day management, training, and engagement for field staff, including employee selection, field training and safety. This individual will also lead operational efforts and ensure superior customer satisfaction.
On a typical day you will:
- Ensure field employee safety, quality and compliance
- Meet with customers to ensure obligations and expectations are achieved
- Direct the performance of field maintenance and contractual service operations
- Conduct field education training with field workforce
- Maintain customer quality assurance, managing the expenditure of labor and materials
- Improve efficiencies, managing route schedules and callback rates
- Provide technical support, working with Service Sales on sales estimation / proposals as required
- Authorize repair orders and tracking completion
- Lead change to better efficiency and communication
What you will need to be successful
- High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 3 years)
- Experience leading a team of technicians is preferred
- Elevator industry experience is desired,
- Experience with digital applications for managing work teams and products
- Excellent communication skills and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Strong computer and technology skills, business acumen and a passion for customer service.
