Description

As a Security Analyst at Sarawak Information Systems Sdn. Bhd., you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the company's security systems and networks to identify and mitigate potential threats. This full-time position is based in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitoring security systems and networks to detect and respond to security incidents
  • Conducting security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans
  • Analysing security logs and data to identify patterns and trends indicative of potential threats
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security controls and best practices
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies, and industry regulations
  • Providing technical support and security guidance to end-users
  • Documenting security processes and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a security analyst or similar role
  • Proficient in security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis
  • Strong understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and industry best practices (e.g. NIST, OWASP)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Effective communication and reporting skills
