Description

As a Security Analyst at Sarawak Information Systems Sdn. Bhd., you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the company's security systems and networks to identify and mitigate potential threats. This full-time position is based in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak.

Responsibilities

Proactively monitoring security systems and networks to detect and respond to security incidents
Conducting security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop remediation plans
Analysing security logs and data to identify patterns and trends indicative of potential threats
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security controls and best practices
Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats, technologies, and industry regulations
Providing technical support and security guidance to end-users
Documenting security processes and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a security analyst or similar role
Proficient in security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis
Strong understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
Familiarity with security frameworks and industry best practices (e.g. NIST, OWASP)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Effective communication and reporting skills
