Job Description
The Security Engineer will support day-to-day operations and development of the security suite of products, with a key objective of designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing Data Security capabilities, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Email Encryption, and related operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a wide array of security solutions and infrastructure for Data Security
- Translate business data security requirements into effective rules with operational considerations
- Conduct product research, define requirements, and perform technical evaluations/POCs
- Propose, develop, test, and manage Data Security solutions, upgrades, and improvements
- Drive upgrades and migrations, ensuring solutions are well-maintained with proper documentation and RCA
- Perform regression testing on new rules, use cases, and enhancements
- Manage and coordinate change processes for Data Security solutions
- Develop automation, datasets, reports, and dashboards for insights
- Support audit and regulatory requirements

- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Support troubleshooting and incident resolution
- Follow established processes to handle outages and technical issues
- Provide timely support and maintain proper documentation
- Resolve routine and complex issues with minimal supervision
Requirements
Education:
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or Cyber Security
- Relevant Data Security certifications are advantageous
Technical Skills:
- 5–7 years of experience in Data Security technologies
- Familiarity with Data Security tools and industry best practices
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux), networking (firewalls/routers), endpoints, and MDM
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, M365, GCP)
- Knowledge of cryptography and secure data transmission
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
