Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Cyberjaya for a Senior 3D Animator. The responsibilities include creating and refining high-quality 3D animations, developing character rigging and motion capture setups, collaborating with the creative team to conceptualize and realize animation projects, and ensuring all deliverables meet industry standards and project requirements. The Senior 3D Animator will also explore and implement innovative animation techniques to enhance storytelling and visual impact.This role combines creative design and technicalexpertisetoproduce impactful videos for our clients. The position also involves supervising junior designers and collaborating with editors and producers to ensure all visual elements align with clientobjectivesand VISIOLAB's creative standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of3D animation, motion graphics, and visual effectsfor video productions, advertising, and digital media.
- Supervise and mentorjunior motion graphic artiststo ensure creative consistency and technical accuracy.
- Collaborate with producers, creative directors, and editors to conceptualize and visualize complex ideas and storyboards.
- Develop3D assets, environments, and motion sequencesusing industry-standard tools.
- Handle compositing, texturing, lighting, andrenderingto deliver polished and realistic outputs.
- Integrateanimated elements seamlesslyinto live-action footage and visual storytelling.
- Ensure all projects meet technical requirements for various platforms (broadcast, social media, and online advertising).
- Maintain project file organization, backup, and documentation according to VISIOLAB's workflow standards.
- Review and refine animation work based on feedback from the Head of Production or clients.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Production.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D Animation, Animation, and Blender
- Proficiencyin software such asBlender,Cinema 4D,After Effects, andDaVinci Resolve(or similar).
- Strong Motion Capture skills and expertise in Rigging
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team, adapt to project needs, and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail with a solid understanding of storytelling through animation
- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with creative cinematics or similar roles is a plus
