Overseeing and managing all ongoing financial operations, including but not limited to payment processing, cash flow management, and intercompany transactions
Handling consolidation accounts and internal control of accounting for a group of companies
Managing company tax computations and liaising with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, lawyers, government authorities, and suppliers
Ensuring compliance with local statutory and tax authorities, accounting standards, and relevant laws and acts governing the industry
Staying up-to-date with changes in tax rules, accounting standards, business and market conditions, etc.
Supervising and leading the accounting team effectively
Performing and monitoring daily accounts operations
Undertaking any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Finance or management from time to time
Job Requirements
A degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Partial qualification of ACCA is welcome to apply too.
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the related field
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent knowledge of financial and management reporting, company taxation, and treasury management
Familiarity with Malaysia's Accounting Standards and other relevant accounting and regulatory requirements
Consistently accurate with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment or independently
