OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
GL reporting of entity/entities assigned.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES
1. Performing a full spectrum of GL function and to maintain a full set of accounts
2. Prepare management report on a monthly, quarterly & yearly basis
3. Prepare outlook on a monthly basis & budget on a yearly basis
4. Prepare tax/deferred tax computation and reconciliation
5. Assist in reporting required by consolidation reporting team
6. Compilation of annual tax filing info including liaising with tax department
7. Assist in preparing compilation of annual tax filing info including liaising with tax department
8. Quarter and year end stocktake and audit
9. Assist in implementation of ERP
10. Assist in various ad-hoc assignment as applicable
KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
1. Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting/audit fields.
2. Positive minded and willing to accept other's point of view and able to interpret information from others.
3. A committed team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
4. High integrity and able to work independently
5. Resourceful and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
6. Added advantage with audit exposures at an established global public accounting firm
ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
